Delecious Mounds Brownies
With Halloween being around the corner and getting a craving for something sweet I decided to make one of my favorite candy bars into a "cake-like" brownie. The results are in and they are delicious! This is a very simple and cost friendly recipe that the kids will enjoy making with you. And as you can see by the picture you probably have all the ingredients in your pantry and wont find yourself having to run to the store.
Ingredients:
Directions:
(optional: add more toasted coconut to top when you pull them out of the oven)
- 1 box brownie mix (prepared according to box plus one egg)
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 bag (12 oz.) chocolate chips
- ½ cup of sweetened coconut
Directions:
- Prepare brownie mix per package directions, using an additional egg
- Bake in Stoneware Bar Pan
- Allow to cool
- Place coconut in small Micro Cooker and microwave on high until browned and toasted (stir ever 45-60 seconds)
- Allow to cool
- Pour sweetened condensed milk over the top of brownies
- Spread to edges
- Sprinkle with coconut to taste
- Sprinkle chocolate chips over the top
- Return to oven (350°) until warmed through and chips are melted
(optional: add more toasted coconut to top when you pull them out of the oven)
11. Cool Completely
I know it's tempting, but make sure they cool completely! |
